Thank you!

Thank you to all who participated in the 2014 Law of Life Summits! It has been a huge couple of days for us as we produced (2) back-to-back Summits.

Washington, D.C. was a huge success. We heard gripping testimony from over 34 of the most active pro-life leaders in the world. The Nail Award for Defense of Faith was presented to Michael Hichborn from American Life League by John-Henry Westen (recipient of the 2013 Nail Award). Meanwhile, Dana Cody from Life Legal Defense Foundation presented the Law of Life Achievement Award to Troy Newman from Operation Rescue. The purpose of the awards is to encourage pro-life activists to keep up with the good-fight for the defense of human life. While recognition among our peers is not necessarily something we should seek for our work , being recognized by our peers can be a huge boost of confidence and inspiration for all.

In San Francisco, the Law of Life Summit successfully tip-toed into the “West Coast” arena. With a small and intimate group of pro-life leaders and activists, participants were able to discuss various initiatives and strategies in a relaxed setting. Guests enjoyed a nice spread of delicious food provided by Life Legal Defense Foundation. Pro-life leaders such as David Bereit, Father Frank Pavone, Father Terry Gensemer, Reggie Littlejohn, Anne Carmichael and several others presented at both the San Francisco and DC Summits.  Dolores Meehan, one of the founders of the West Coast Walk for Life, graced the Summit with an entertaining and inspiring speech. The question for establishing a “West Coast” 5K before the 2015 Walk for Life came up and Dolores indicated it would be a great idea.

So much more happened than be described here in words. Thank you to everyone who made these 2014 Law of Life Summit possible, including Ave Maria School of Law, Life Runners, Life Legal Defense Foundation, the March for Life, the West Coast Walk for Life, and all of the pro-life groups and pro-lifers who participated!

Looking forward to an even bigger and more inspiring set of Summits for 2015!

God Bless,

Royce
